The GEN5X1 is designed to be the best onboard marine battery charger we've ever made. It's 37% smaller and delivers 43% more power than our previous model, the GENM1. This one-bank charger is rated at 5 amps per bank and is capable of charging and maintaining up to one 12-volt lead-acid and lithium-ion battery, including flooded, gel, AGM, and deep-cycle types.

Each 12-volt battery bank provides up to 5 amps of pure charging power, and also doubles as a battery maintainer and desulfator. The GEN5X1 is equipped with a simplified mounting system that allows for quick and easy installation in any direction, even upside-down, with an integrated anti-vibration backing to isolate shock, vibration, and noise.

The GEN5X1 is a fully-sealed and waterproof onboard battery charger with an ingress protection rating of IP68, meaning it has survived brutal life cycle testing, including thousands of hours underwater. This charger is built to withstand the harsh marine environment and keep your batteries in top condition.

Precision Charging and Versatile Modes

The GEN5X1 features an integrated thermal sensor that detects the ambient temperature and adjusts the charging process to eliminate over-charging in hot climates and under-charging in cold climates, ensuring your batteries receive the optimal charge.

With selectable charging modes, including 12V, 12V AGM, 12V Lithium, and 12V Repair Mode, the GEN5X1 can independently charge and control each battery bank to accommodate all types of lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries. It can even charge batteries as low as 1 volt, or use the all-new force mode to manually begin charging dead batteries down to zero volts.
